Another major breakthrough for homeopathy! A landmark Health Technology Assessment (HTA) report on the effectiveness, appropriateness, safety and costs of homeopathy in health care has just been published by the Swiss Government. An HTA is an established scientific analysis which examines not only the efficacy of a particular modality, but also its effectiveness in clinical settings, its appropriateness, its safety and economy. As a result, HTAs are far wider in scope and provide more information than many other studies.
This Swiss Government’s HTA Report concludes there is sufficient evidence to recommend homeopathy for its effectiveness, safety and economy compared with conventional treatment.

Are The Treatments of Modern Medicine Effective?

Read This Shocking News
The British Medical Journal (BMJ) is one of the most revered journals of modern conventional medicine. In a 2007 paper, the authors of a study looking at the evidence for a host of medical treatments made a shocking discovery… There is little reliable evidence to argue for most of the top medical treatments routinely used by conventional docs.
This data was published in the “The British Medical Journal’s “Clinical Evidence” (BMJ, 2007). The authors reviewed approximately 2,500 treatments and found:
- 13 percent were found to be beneficial
- 23 percent were likely to be beneficial
- Eight percent were as likely to be harmful as beneficial
- Six percent were unlikely to be beneficial
- Four percent were likely to be harmful or ineffective.
- 46 percent were unknown whether they were efficacious or harmful”
Now if you are part of the homeopathic community - you probably realize that the allopathic community attacks homeopathy with great regularity for “insufficient evidence”… ignoring the significant number of high quality studies showing that homeopathy works (http://www.nationalcenterforhomeopathy.org/articles-research). Sad but true… Dare to know.
Ok… You Have Your Home Remedy Kit - Now What??

In a previous post, we provided a list of some of the most important and useful remedies to have in a home remedy kit. Now that you know what you need - how do you use them when a loved one is ill?
The key to successfully choosing a homeopathic remedy to relieve your son, daughter, husband, or wife lies in carefully questioning your “patient” and observing your patient to find the most characteristic symptoms they are experiencing.
By characteristic - what do we mean?
A characteristic symptom is one that is a departure from the normal state, is intense, and peculiar. Also pay close attention to what makes your “patient’s” symptoms better or worse. Are they better from standing, or cold air, or from drinking, or in the morning, etc. What makes them worse?
With as much information as you can gather - now compare your patient’s characteristic symptoms with those produced by remedies. Match the characteristics of the patient with those of a remedy (”like cures like”) and your patient will enjoy a nice recovery. There a number of books that provide the details of remedy characteristics. More on that later.
